Saturdays · Hijrah of the Self — a women-only space for sisters to learn the deen and grow together.
For mothers who feel they are always failing someone. Understanding guilt, pressure and burnout; Islamic views on work, family and responsibility; balancing ambition with motherhood and marriage; self-compassion without neglecting duty.
For women carrying expectations, fears and confusion about what it means to be a wife. The true meaning of being a wife in Islam; understanding emotional needs within marriage; communication and healthy conflict management; building companionship with your partner.
For women torn between parents, in-laws, marriage and children. Islamic teachings on birrul walidayn; managing difficult expectations and pressure; setting healthy boundaries respectfully; balancing family and emotional health.
For those who recite the words of solat for years without understanding them. The meanings behind common recitations; reflecting on Al-Fatihah and daily adhkar; how understanding deepens khushu'; building connection during prayer.
For women who quietly worry whether their solat is fully correct. Revisiting the pillars and conditions of solat; common mistakes women make in prayer; practical fiqh on purification and prayer; confidence and consistency in prayer.
For life's less-than-ideal moments. Solat during travel, illness and hardship; rulings on pregnancy, work and fatigue; concessions and flexibility in Islam; confidence with practical solat questions.

Build a culture of curiosity amid endless distraction. Why attention and focus are declining; how Islamic civilisation built learning cultures; encouraging curiosity and critical thinking; healthy technology and screen boundaries.
Nurture practice through understanding and love, not fear. Why young Muslims struggle with consistency; building a home rooted in Islamic values; encouraging questions while preserving faith; leading through example, not enforcement.
Cultivate mercy at home. Why emotional disconnection is increasing; Islamic views on mercy and forgiveness; managing conflict and hard conversations; breaking cycles of resentment.
Cultivate habits of discipline and ihsan in personal and family life. The Islamic concept of ihsan; how habits shape character and outcomes; consistency in personal and family routines; overcoming procrastination and complacency.
Build a mindset of gratitude rooted in faith. Why dissatisfaction and comparison are common; the link between gratitude and well-being; Quranic and Prophetic teachings on shukr; raising children who appreciate blessings.
Learn how the righteous built lives rooted in taqwa through daily habits. Understanding the true meaning of taqwa; habits and routines of the righteous; consistency in worship and discipline; strengthening spiritual focus and istiqamah.
Each class is a two-hour commitment: ninety minutes of delivery followed by thirty minutes for questions and answers. If you find a little more time is needed, we'd recommend extending by no more than a further fifteen minutes.
Each class you teach carries a fee of S$250.
